From the research I have done the otr by orrsom can require a retune sometimes. I'd you are only after the sound why don't you try an ss inductions growler kit or something similar ... These give a great induction roar Be warned ... I bought an SS growler kit as the first thing I did to my car...

have you tried putting it up on ramps or jacking it up and looking for scrape marks or anything ... thats how i know where mine hits ... but i cant help you with the front the back is where it hits on mine

to put forced induction on these motors is a lot more expensive then its really worth ... and you do need a new ecu ... but just for the rest of the mods no you dont need a chip yes you can get it tuned and they give good results

I have rung around a few places and most have said that the computer system is not capable of handling the additional demand made by a turbo or blower so that has to have at least a piggy back ecu on it ... And then If you want to rub more then around 4psi you have to do the injectors as well...
