mine are starting to wear also (02 VX equipe 75,000kms) and i will be doing them next service at my usual mechanics for $250, i would think for a v6 your getting really ripped off mate

the first one is engine mounts as i have the same problem at the moment, someone telling you that the drivers seat cant be fixed is bs, i'd get another opinion. everything can be fixed for a price, or even better, what about a new seat? and are you using new power window switches or 2nd hand...

I also believe that the pure white lights i.e. HID's arent that great in the wet + night, a good well sorted phillips bulb is the best for all conditions. Plus HID's are the most annoying lights when the person coming towards you has them, please don't turn into a honda / BMW / Merc driver...

I had something similar to a clicking noise near my steering column also, found out it was all the crap my gf buys me to put on my key chain with my keys LOL removed all crappy items problem solved. I would be thinking it's going to be the relay or the indicator stalk canceller not working...

i went through to the centre cubby hole arm rest thingo, i had to drill 2 holes to fit the extended usb cable that i connected through, works ok, isn't really that hard if your technically minded and know the in's and out's of your dash.

I have just rang around to a few Holden dealerships and also a reconditioned parts place. The Holden dealer wants $161.70 for a new one with a 2 year warranty. The second hand place (reconditioned) wants $38.50, with a 3 month warranty. Doesn't seem to bad to go either way really, the new one...

Thanks guys for the reply, i'll get straight onto it, what would I expect to pay for the actuator and is it easy to remove \ replace? As far as my understanding goes, it's the thing that pushes up the lock slider yeah? Would I be better off getting a brand new one or a second hand one?

yeah i have the same feelings when it comes to that fuel flap. very cheap and nasty plastic, I always thought that people were trying to extract vx drivers fuel when i saw one missing, but now i realise, that they are just plastic
