G'day all, just wondering if anyone has done a tailshaft centre bearing before on a vz? the rubber between the gearbox and tailshaft is fully rooted and has cause alot of movement within the rest of the tailshaft...eventually the insulater ( black rubber between centre bearing and the loop...

if i can't get a sale here i'll put them aside for you if you like? i'll get a price on postage and we'll see what we can work out...being in another state, might be able to do a bank transfer or something..would you take one or both of them?

hahaha the tapping in cng bus engines being valves, you're laughing haha, a tap in an engine at my work is more like valve recession or piston knock hahaha, as for your problem, i've heard a coupla timing chains ticking, valves can't be adjusted on alloytecs, they use hydraulic lash adjusters...

g'day all, so i've just bought a heavy duty clutch set up for my v6 ute...the kit has the solid flywheel, new slave cylinder, new pressure plate and new clutch plate...also got new flywheel and pressure plate bolts...is there anything else i should be replacing?. is there a spigot bearing or...

yea true...i might try resetting the ecu, if its still shitty i'll try the oxy sensors...its a brand new battery too pretty much haha, only about 4 months old:P

torque convertor could be stuffed too...that's constantly vortexing oil around, maybe somethings wrong in there and causing the oil to overheat when it goes into the rest of your box?

no worries mate p.s, stud pattern will most likely be reffered to as PCD when looking at rims..(PCD= Pitch Circle Diameter)...its just how many studs there are and how far apart they are sorta thing, which is 5 x 120 like i said earlier:)

i've got 19 x 8's on my ute...standard height etc, no worries at all, 100% legal...stud pattern is 5X120mm...offset is positive 45...aslong as you have the right tyre ( you can check in "the wheel deal" section and look at the limitations guide tickied on there, it has the correct rim and tyre...

i've heard with the v8 gearboxes when i was working at holden that straight outta the factory there wasn't enough preload put on the bearings through out the gearbox (don't ask which ones) which cause the load on the gearbox to twist abit and and put pressure partially sideways on the bearings...

yea yea thats true..so i assume ther is a wiring harness or a bunch or wires coming out from the back of the headunit somewhere?...i'll just find the right wires connecting up between the speakers and headunit, chop it off close to the headunit, get rid of the excess wiring, hook up the new...

oh cool...is that it jsut a capacitor..so really, if i trace wiring from the head unit to the tweater, should it be all wire and a capacitor then the tweeter?..man, thank god for you guys, i'd be so stuck on christmas day if it wasn't for you lot, cheers fellas:)

oh lovely haha, i'd love to have my dash on fire haha...so would these capacitors etc be in an enclosed housing like my crossovers but maybe smaller and not as flashy, or would they just be wired in with the rest of the wiring etc?

cheers hcvp...its alright...i set htem up in my parents car and they went alright..they lost quality not being in the speaker pods though..they're 6.5 inch speakers so they won't fit without dicking around with the plastic pod...i tried with the factory speakers being in and out of the pod..and...
