Hey fellas last night on me mates vl Calais,308 5litre we replaced the oil pump ..filled it with Vaseline an filled oil filter before fittment, all back together ,filled engine with oil everything got double checked. Then we cranked here up ...noticing that there was no oil coming out the top...

ive done that flush fill bleed no diffrence fan still cicks in.at 3/4... not to worry anyway got way bigger problems now as my engine had done a bearing knock knock knock!!... had nothing but bad luck...thanks for the advice

Hey people, i have replaced the centre bearing in the tail shaft,witch also involved separating the tailshaft...need some tips on how to get the origanal c.v joint back together...all the ball bearing come out off it an its becoming a night mare any help much apreciated!! Cheers

i own a vs commodore wagon,,ive noticed when i go for a drive sometimes (most off the time) the battery light comes on on the dash... an stays on for a good 15 minutes then turns off all offf a sudden. there is no loss off power to the vehicle and no loss off power to any light sorce... head...

Just brought a vp commodore an wen you drive it drives fine from 1st to 2nd to third but from third to drive u have to hold it flat until it gets to about 5 thousand revs diing 80-90 k an it shifts to 4th!! Ounce u get it in drive ounce it tends to shift all gears fine any explanaton??

yeah manual mate yeah pull her apart an have a look the guy i got it off said it also had crank grind an new bearings so maby wen put together hes left something off under the front cover perhaps??? deffanitly be looking at the haeds an front cover cheers on info guys

ok so i purchased a engine off a guy told it was a runner!! put in start up after running for 10 mins radiator fills up with oil please help
