A bit of a noob question but as the title suggests, what are your thoughts on jacks and jack stands from auto part stores like Repco, Supercheap, Autobarn, etc? Are they safe and of high quality? TIA

I've been looking at a bunch of threads but always found mixed answers for jacking the rear. People saying that you should jack at the diff and other stuff. If not at the diff where should I jack the rear of the car and where is the best place to put safety stands.

Car is lowered so to use the trolley jack up front , low profile ramps are needed to get the jack under the car. Finished the service then lowered the car front wheels on the ramps intending to drive off the ramps next. Needed to check another issue on the rear of the car, so thought nothing...
