I have replaced the driver side post cat sensor with new genuiene error and cleared codes,
check engine light went off.

driving for 10 mins light comes back on and error is back .
anyone dealt with this before?

the passenger side post 02 sensor plugs straight into the original harness , the drivers side post sensor is running through a small extension harness
car is running a maf with a tune .

Is this extension harness some kind of aftermarket job? Might be a dodgy cable or bad connection somewhere.

Easiest way to check is swap the one you took off with the old one on the other side and see what happens.
From memory bank 1 is passenger side yes. Probably whichever side cylinder 1 is on.

Does it have extractors? Usually the reason for an extension. Bank 1 is passenger side.

Bank 1 is definitely the driver's side. And you can also see that from VS_Pete's diagram in his post.
