Hiya all! Just wondering if anyone had any idea why the display on my stereo isn't working? I have checked fuses under passenger side but nothing has popped.
I have an after market head unit hooked up since the day I've had the car, and the display of the time and date has always been there up until maybe 3 days ago. Any help please?!
Will attach a pic of what im talking about

Go to the boot. Pull the battery cover. Above that is a small unmarked fuse box hidden under a cover. The cover can be tricky to remove, sometimes it comes away from its mount. That’s ok. There is a 15amp fuse for the headunit in there. (Look under the lid, it shows you which one) Pull it with long nose pliers and leave the whole car alone for an hour or more (overnight is ideal.)

Put it back in (a small spark happens as you do it.) that’s ok.

Start the car and it should come back on.

That is the most ghetto headunit install in a VE I've ever seen.
I'm amazed at how it even works? Is it operating through an auxiliary input?
