The VF2 Utes have Launch Control, does that help or is it just a wank?
Until I started to type this I'd never thought to try it out in my Ute.
.
I'm not sure if it will work better. Ive done probably 30 odd passes in my vf2 auto sedan and I've tried with traction control on a few times and also manual mode and the quickest and most consistent times were with TC & ASM off. Just experiment with different set ups when you're there and see what works best. A mate I race with often has a VF1 W310 manual ute and his best time so far is a 13.9. He struggles with it either bogging down out of the hole or too much revs causes bag axle tramp loosing valuable tenths. Tires and pressures are where I'd start if you want to improve your 60 footers
