OTHER INFO: Still driven almost every day and doesn't skip a beat. All original factory condition. Has full electric windows, power steering, central locking, electric aerial, variable speed intermittent wipers, headlight washers and wipers (one missing), factory Harrison aircon (needs a service-not working but complete). Many parts replaced including carpets, aerial, lhf window regulator and motor, headlight wiper motors, front seat belt covers. If you want to know more PM me or check out the carsales ad.

aircon clutch has been found to be the problem. I've ordered a second hand compressor complete with clutch. I will be getting the aircon fixed and adjusting the price accordingly.

Registration has been renewed for 3 months, now expires 14 April 15. Custom plates have also been renewed until 27th Feb 2016.

Aircon is now fixed, listed at $7,200 but will remain $7,000 neg for JC members.

Aircon was fixed, but the compressor clutch gave up. Will be replaced and working again on the 4th March. Price also returned to $7,000, will sell for $6,750 to JC members only.

So, the replacement clutch hub was just as brittle. Trying to source one from the USA brand new, hopefully the supplier will respond. This is all the aircon needs (plus new belt) to be working again. The compressor and pulley are in good condition and the aircon is fully sealed and gassed ready to go.

$6,800 listed online, will sell for $6,500 cash.

Now down to $5,000. Will consider reasonable swap for registered runner with min $1,000 cash my way. Yep, getting pretty desperate to get rid of this VB.

I still drive this to work as well as around town. It hasn't missed a beat at all, just needs some love. I don't love it, I've tried but just can't connect to it, so my patience and budget for this car has ended. Would like to see it go to someone who will finish the restore and have a $15,000 car in the end but to be honest I don't care if you just buy it for parts.
