1994 VR V6 Executive
Hi all,
Just purchased a 1994 VR V6 Executive sedan. Owned a 2009 SV6 sedan prior to this.

Is it normal for the leg room to be a lot smaller in the VR than the VE? On the VR, I have the seat all the way back and still feel a little squashed, whereas on the SV6, my legs would bearly reach the pedals if all the way back.

Is this normal, or have the seat rails possibly been messed around with?

Cheers

How tall are you? I'm 6' (or I was) in the sedan I have the seat back to about 2 clicks before it runs out.

See if adjusting the seat height helps.

Sorry can't comment on VE vs VS, haven't driven a VE

You must be very tall (especially in the legs) to have it close to maxed out.
5'11" and I definitely don't have it all the way back.
@Immortality is tall. I wonder where he has a gen2 seat set?

There will be less room in the VR, I'm about 6' 6" (or a bit shorter due to age and back injuries) but I fairly much have the seat right back. **** all leg room sitting behind me.

In and ideal world I'd have the seat further back and have the steering wheel further out so I could heal/toe. As it is. I have my knee leaning against the door and need to bend my ankle in unnatural angles to achieve that feat.

I’m about 6’1. But like to have it back more than usual

But realistically, Holden would have made the adjustability to be done via the handle under the seat right? Any further adjustability would require a different seat rail right?

VE is a much bigger car as well. VN-VS is about the interior size of a VW Golf.

My missus is 5'3", she slides the seat way forward, I get in and slide it all the way back and then lean it back a bit more.

She hates the Senator though and would never drive it now even if it was on the road. She miss-behaves for the missus but purrs like a kitten for me.
