End this here. The VR/VS v6 will get to 200-215.. but stock its probably not going to be real good for your engine..

and if your not doing this legally, it's even more stupid. (and yes im basically calling myself stupid, did it in the rain to 210 with bald front tyres...)

The V6 is working its guts out to get a heavy car like the commodore up to 200, and only just manages it,let alone 250,theres no way it would go that fast.The new 6 litre V8's are just reaching these speeds,was watching a test drive on the new VE the other day,the version released in the UK,same V8 engine as ours etc.They had it at an old airport on the runway,they were just managing to get it up to around 250.They said it was flat at that speed.Theres no way a V6 is gonna keep up with it.Years ago in the days of radar detectors,we used to get a 1988 VNV6 calais up to around 210,that was absolutely flat.

Garbage, my 4.2 253 would do 220 and I have been in more than one 5 ltr that would do 240kmh. And that was back in the eighties.

a mild 253 will do 200 maybe a bit more in an early commodore. depending on gearbox and diff ratios, as a direct 4th gear and 3.08 diff gives you around 5500rpm at 200. quite possible in a lightweight car.

well ive gotten my vs v6 to 300kms in 1st gear. i was just above idle too. its stock and everything.


oh i forgot to mention that it was falling of a skyscraper hahaha.
