tyre shops will give you stuff all, i tried to sell back some oem michelin tyres that are fitted to the ssv's etc, the would only give me 70 bucks each, when they are worth around 600 each,

mate stick them on ebay with a starting price of 2.2k, you'd probably get what your after, those potenza's should be re040's? just make sure you describe them well, and stick it in the right category

They are RE 050s Andy.

DAMN i wish i can post in the "for sale" forum now.
I will sell on this forum for $2,700 O.N.O first and then post it up on Ebay next week.

mate i had these tyres on my clubby the 275/35/r19's

got quoted $1007 a tyre to replace them...yes that is each!

so no way i was guna pay that sorta coin for tyres that lasted only just 30000km and werent even that great.

ended up getting some kumho KU31's, picked them up for $345 each and more than happy with them..

moral of the story RE050 = rip off haha

I heard that RE050 last more than 40,000km. Well if you got quoted $1007 each than my price is bloody CHEAP!!! at half the cost! LOL

So how'd you go trying to sell those Bridgestones?....Have replaced the rear 20's Bridgestones on the VE Maloo with Kuhmo's KU31's, at only $350 a tyre.:thumbsup:. near 1/3 the price of Bridgestones & in my opinion "just as good if not better".....cheers....

30,000 km from any tyre on a Commodore is good.
