20" wheels and spedo

Hi guys, just got 20" wheels put on my vx ss and it feels like the car is goin faster than 60 when i sit on 60 by the spedo. Could it be out.

What profile tyres are on it?

Chances are its out. However, when I went from 18 to 20's mine actually dropped about 3k's.

You might be ok. Just grab a phone and download a speedometer type program.

Try using a gps and looking at the speedo on that, see if there is a variation from your speedo that will tell you

That's what my vy has on it and it's out by 2-3 km/h at 100km/h. So you would t notice it at 60k's. I think ya mind is playing tricks on you

Use Google and search for miata.net tire size, you should be able to work it out from there.

my VY has 20's on it too and its out by 2-3kph at 100 as well

245/30R20 is the correct tyre size for a VY, the difference in rolling diameter from the stock size to the 20" size isn't so bad.
