2001 vx commodore exhaust splatter

I have a 2001 vx commodore and nee help. Can someone please help me on this issue? I recently removed stock extractor off passenger side an reinstalled now I have poor acceleration and splattering how do I resolve this issue. Cheers

Did you test run it without? Have Oxygen sensor unplugged?

Also l would be checking the leads on that side (passenger).
