Hey Guys,
I swapped out a 2002 vx l67 with the exact same engine. I took it to get my exhaust welding back on when the car overheated with the mechanics. The car was starting fine, but when i went to pick it up it just cranked but didn't pop. They got a sparky in and he said the car had no spark. Changed the sparks, DFI and coils but still no spark.
Any idea on whats wrong???

If you swapped L67 for a L67, its should have fire up,
but
Did you use ALL the existing Sensors from the old Motor to the Replacement Motor ?

How do you know the old motor wasn't knacked and/or running ok ?

The car had been driving for over 2 weeks fine and they did run a compression test. Everything was all good. The sparky said there was too high a resistance in one of the coils, so swapped them and the DFI but still wouldn't start.

Yes I used the same sensors from the original motor.

The Sparky said there was a too high of resistance in one of the coil???. Swapped all of them and the DFI but still wouldn't start.

Did the sparkie swap them or you?

Guessing the exhaust joint didn't disconnect the battery before welding.

Could be a lot of things if this is the case
