Dlc issues

Hi guys, I have a vx commodore , it's an l67. I have a videnti400 with Holden software installed and also have an elm device with SCANXL diagnostics program but my car will not connect.
I can connect to my partners barina spark and get engine diagnostics but nothing on the vx. The vident let's me communicate with body and chassis but no pcm or engine.

Any thoughts?

The V6 models (up to the alloytec motors) use the older ALDL communications protocol instead of OBD2 so unless your unit can read the older protocol it won't be able to communicate with the PCM.

The vident i400au reads both ALDL & obd11 protocols.

What else are you having problems with?
ABS lights? Something on communications line is either cactus or there is a wiring issue?

I had a check engine light come on and diagnosed that down to "no communication with left o2 sensor for 4 mins" using the built in diagnostics but I also just for curiosity would like to do some engine data logs and base mapping but no comms with car is being a pain.
I'm in the process of sourcing a reliable aldl cable and will try that.

Car is running, I did have a fault prior , bur I am more wanting to have live data recorded from my car but am unable to connect with current cables and software.

Your i400au should connect to the pcm.

There is something going on with one of the modules, possibly abs module? Try disconnecting abs module, then try scanning?

I can't get a fault code through scan tool but after driving for 40 mins I get check engine light and a code that translates to no signal to left 02 sensor for 4mins" has anyone run into this error before
