Hey guys

So having a problem with my 2005 vz commodore when driving normally the car drives perfectly up until about 70ish kmh, when cruising anywhere between 70ks upwards I go to increase the throttle slightly to speed up and it just feels like nothing really happens and sluggish sound comes from the exhaust then I’ll put my foot down a bit more and bam it will start to speed up and it only does this from 70kmh upwards anything under that and it will drive fine, just trying to get some thoughts on what It could be

Might be a transmission issue. At least get it serviced. Filter and new oil.

Does this happen on gears 2,3 and 4 at 70km?

It jumps out of first into second and the sluggishness only happens in 4th I ended up talking to an auto transmission specialist they said that the servo piston is stuffed and either the band is stuffed or the casing for 4th gear has dropped and it’s slipping so went out and bought a second hand box hopefully that fixes the issue
