2006 Pontiac GTO A4 (VZ Monaro)
Hello all, new to the forum. I am in the United States and own a 2006 Pontiac GTO.

Recently, someone seems to have loosened my lug nuts. A couple days ago, my wheel came off flying and sheared off all my wheel studs and lug nuts. I came to this conclusion because the last work I had done that involved torquing the wheel back on was months ago so it would have come off much sooner, and the locking lug nut I had on stayed on tight and bent the stud before it was pulled off too. I have tried everything recommended by GTO forums and nothing has worked, and every OEM seller is out of stock/says they are discontinued.

However, I thought of trying to use VZ commodore rear studs and have found some online (link: https://www.holdspares.com.au/holden-commodore-standard-wheel-stud-set-vb-vp-fro). Would these work? If not, what would? Here is a picture of the sheared off studs for reference:

Hub face not damaged or bent?

Maybe get a set of secure wheel nuts [set of 20] , [not a set of 4 lock nuts],
At a guess, possibly someone tried to knock off your wheels.

Edit: More importantly, any damage to the Car ?

The wheel studs are easy to get and always will be. We can still get the studs for Holdens going way back into the 50’s.

Finding an eBay seller who wants to send over to the states might be tough. Amazon isn’t a big thing in Australia for parts but have a look. You never know. Or get in touch with RareSpares or Kingswood Country and see if they will send them.

The rear bumper was ripped, the dust shield was crushed, and the rotor was ground flat. Have to find replacements for all of these, but otherwise the car is ok

Edit: I have gotten the new rotor already and I am in the process of getting a bumper in the states, but I am struggling to find a rear passenger brake dust shield, any recommendations?

Any photo's ?

Possibly a wreckers if you have one there ?

Assuming its a standard rear hub ?
I am assuming the Dust Shield/Backing Plate [I call it] are the same across the VZ series ?
Held on with 3 x 10mm bolts ?

If you get stuck getting hold of a backing plate,
I could get one from the wreckers next time I go there, as there is a number of VZ's on site.
Assuming they are same for RHD & LHD.

It will cost you the part,
plus postage, what ever that is from Aus to the USA.

Unfortunately, I’ve already been down the junkyard rabbit hole and I can’t find any in my state or the surrounding ones. As for the backing plate, it looks to be held on by two Torx on top with two Hex on bottom holding the handbrake anchor. It looks like you can’t get it out without removing the hub, which might prove to be an issue unless you find one with the rear right hub out already. It looks like a job that’ll have to wait until I change my bearings, but it would be preferable to have one on hand now instead of trying hunt it down later. Is it possible to get an estimate from the salvage yard?

I don't know which wrecker 'Krusing' is talking about but to give you some idea of price, 'Upullit' have the wheel studs at $3 each and the brake backing plate at $13.
A private wrecker may want more, some of them want to sell you the whole diff.
