2007 ve ssv stereo problems

Hi, all I have a problem with the stereo in my 2007 ve ssv sedan.
I've had the car for a month and the stereo in it worked spot on until one day both back subs just stopped working.
On looking into the head unit I noticed that the sub and treble display had turned grey and normally by turning the knob you could highlight them to adjust them except now it just skipped over them so it couldn't be adjusted it's doing my head right in.
Have any of you guy's/girls had this issue and if so what did to fix it.?

ok turned off the equalizer even tho it sounded better put my hand on the subs they wernt working.

Sounds like the amplifier has blown? or maybe its blown a fuse. Cant remember if there is a seperate fuse on the amp. Ill try look for mine if I can remember where I put it when I took it out lol its where the battery is but back more, behind the lining

There is a red 10A fuse on the amp. Check that first. It's mounted around the battery area in the boot.

fuse was blown but think amp is as well
