2010 VE SV6 factory head unit

friend has ve sv6 2010 model with factory head unit , unit has an aux port only. no USB port . my question is what is the simplist way to be able to play MP3 music from a flash drive stick that has the mp3 music files on it ? thanks for any help , is appreciated.

Upgrade to an aftermarket or series 2 set up.
or find an old school iPod Classic and convert it to Rockbox.

thanks Fu Manchu , I think he should put in an aftermarket unit in and just keep the old factory one in case he wants to sell the car. thanks again for reply.
