Hi All,

I am about to change the spark plugs on my 2011 SV6 Holden Ute and I would like to know if the Upper manifold gaskets are the same on all VE
commodores ....
The prices range from $26 - $109 so i would appreciate not throwing away money especially after the cost of the plugs...

Can anyone point me to a set that fits and perform well...

Cheers
AL

Are you sure you need to lift the manifold on your model to change the plugs?
Some models of Alloytec need the manifold lifted and some don't.

Thx 4 Replying Greenacc,

You are right... The only vids on Holden refer to the other models so i decided to look on an American site and used the term Pontiac instead of Holden and found a vid showing me what a TOOL i was... Cheers AL

PS.... Subject closed, Done and Dusted....

I the gaskets are clean and good condition,
Re-use them,
That will save you $'s.

You don’t need to lift the manifold on the non SIDI engines. In saying that, if you ever need to do so, you might have the older cardboard like gasket and it will need to be replaced with that new model that is reusable. Or you can use the occasion to fit spacers (in that case, RTV works, or 2 sets of gaskets sandwiching the spaces)
