Yes if you are driving it on any public area, but I think you missed the point. What licence number have you put on the stamp? A fake one?

What about the business name/number fake too?

Just got a 15,000km service done at a dealer on my MY12 SV6 Sportswagon with the wheel tracking and balance checked and the wheels rotated for $320.

I had complined about a problem with the IQ system where the mode button on the steering wheel tried to operate the built in navigation system which isn't fitted and they did an update to the software for free.

Have you actually read what has been printed onto the invoice they supplied you with. They will often slip in a 'wheel allignment', 'wheel balancing', 'fuel system clean', 'windscreen washer additive', new windscreen wiper rubbers etc. There are heaps of services and components that they may try and on-sell. Many people don't have a clue and just pay up. I always provide the Service Advisor with a printed list of what is to be done with the comment 'no additional work or replacement of components (other than required in service) will be paid for without express permission of owner (I'm usually the one who sits patiently in your waiting room, drinking your coffee, eating your biscuits and watching your Foxtel).

I DREAM of paying these prices!!

Traded the 2004 C180 Kompressor merc for a 2006 VE Calais (75k) because I got absolutely disgusted with having to pay $200 per hour for labour + exhorbitant amounts for parts etc.

Try $178 for 5L of Mobil1...$134 for 3 wiper blades(A160)....and on and on.
