Fitted the Airhammer and had some issues and still do but they will be fixed..


Also recieved my Manta exhaust system on Monday thanks for Not_An_Abba_Fan. Got them pretty quickly too.

Well I ATTEMPTED at fitting these today. Got the old exhaust off piece of piss, moved the sensors over etc, jacked up the exhaust and put the middle exhaust bracket on so i don't have to hold the ####er.

And now the issue I have. Everything mounts etc all line up, even the flanges line up, but as you see from the pic, the original pipe from the Cat has a flare after the flange. That flare will NOT fit inside the manta pipe. The only way I can see this working is if I was to smash it in and/or cut it right off.

So after being prooved an idiot, i took off that gasket and fitted up the exhaust. Ended up having issues with the air filter again not breathing so I tried changing the PCV pipe to see if it made a difference (as air hammer one is smaller diameter) and didn't make a different, fit up the stock airfilter set up and it goes like new again.. There's something wrong with the air filter not giving enough air OR the maf pipe...

I don't know if it's because it gets hot as **** (which is was) but it just seems to not get enough air and dies out. Maybe the pod filter is faultly, I'm not too sure but i'm having a talk with Mace.


On another note, the exhaust sounds sick thanks to Not_an_abba_fan!

Yeh give it probably 4 weeks and i'll have a JHP slimline one fitted to my car. Then lower/stereo/wheels/tune not in that order haha

Just took it for it's first drive since it's been done.. well like a 5 minute one.. Has heaps more response down low and pulls fairly harder down low to mid. Up high is the same pretty much but once a tune goes in it'll be greater.

This thing is really starting to come out nice mate cant wait to see whats next for it. Shattered about the loss of license but the time will fly past before you know it.
