2013 VE Commodore. Gold Coast / Sth Brisbane... Looking for a Mechanic to remove/refit left hand cylinder head...

I have a 2013 VE V6 and it has a burnt valve (cylinder 4) failed leak down test and can feel air coming out the exhaust.

I have found a place that will recondition the head for $700. Any recommendations on a mechanic who can remove/refit the left hand head (2,4,6) ?

is it 3.6 LWR LPG engine ?
I thought they had special hardened valves and seats in these dedicated LPG engines ??
Seems a bit strange for a burnt valve, there might be some other problems found when the head is off like a crack ???

Maybe also check out the price of low kms engine swap if you plan to keep it for a few more years.

About 2 years ago, my son had his VF 3.0 LFW engine replaced by the mechanics shop for free after they snapped off an injector when fixing a coolant leak. They said it worked out cheaper for them getting a new crate engine than repairing his 90,000km engine.
