Hi Guys,

I Just joined up because I bought a 09 SSV Ute. Now the first thing I need to do is put an exhaust on which thanks to this forum ive learned a lot! I also need some wheels and springs. Can anybody help me out!

Can I fit 20x8.5 on the front and 20x10 on the rear or even 20x10.5 on the rear??? I do wish to lower it, not much, just enough to suit the new wheels.

If I decide to go with 22s, can I fit 22x10 on the rear or even 22x9 all around???

And also what offset would get me to the edge of the guards? would 40+ be ok or 35+?....

Thanks Guys look forward to hearing back from you all :beer chug:

20x8.5 front 20x10 rear will look hot. Don't go 22s, they affect performance and don't look as tuff as staggered 20s.

But can you go 22s staggered?

and would 20x10.5 be too large? or could you run something like a 30 offset? or will that stick out too much...

Oh, the "Anti - Big Rim" committee are here...

It wasn't that long ago every was ragging on 20" wheels, now they're being recommended - now 22" rims "are the Devil.." LOLfail...

The way I read it, I think the O/P was asking if the full set of 20"s would fit with a 10" rear rim, or if he decided to go 22"s (all round) would a 10" rear rim fit under there no problems. Not so much the 20" on the front 22" rear combination.

Yeah! so 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear... or 22x8.5 front and 22x10 rear..... would these fit? has anyone on here done this before? and what offset? I just dont want to spend the money buying cast wheels from a tyre shop made to suit ALL cars with 5x120 with a 45 offsett or something....

I have 22x10 on the rear and mine is lowered about 40mm and the main issue is having your guards rolled so u don't chew out your tyres

Just read a thread on LS1 forum someone got a defect for rolled guards. Check it out I couldn't be bothered reading the whole thread, (4pages).
