^^ I already referred the OP to that thread earlier.

..But it doesn't help him much, since he's after the correct offset for 10in wide rims on the rear..

HSV wheels are 20x8.5 front 48p and 20x9.5 56p rear

we were talking about this earlier in the week in a thread called "roll guards"

welcome to the forum but learn to use the search option's and read some theards before repeating old topic's

Im not really interested in 20x10 im thinking more 22x10??? so that would be 56 offset too?

Still can't answer your question sorry, but I don't see why the correct offset would be any different between 20's and 22's.

I mean, the overall rolling diameter would still be the same or nearly the same right?

Im thinking so too but if it is slightly larger then that can cause all sorts of trouble, and it could only be over 2 or 3mm which would suck! Thats why I was thinking of asking you guys and setting up a topic called 22" wheels 22x10 because lots of people on here have explained 20x10s by the looks of it. But now im being told to go 22x10 56 which doesnt seem right...

dude the difference between 9.5 inch's and 10 is about 12mm aka a bee's dick, it does not matter anyway all the guys running 10 inch wheels run the 275 tyre's the same as 9.5 wide rim's :/ some do run 295's tho

245/35R20 tyres are the same size as 245/25R22 tyres (8.5 wide) PERFECT FIT on a 22x8.5 48p wheel and 275/30R20 are the 9.5 tyres and if you bought 275/25R22 (samllest size listed in calculator I found) are 25mm to big in diametre and illegal in most states as legally you can only go 15mm larger.

Go to a tyre shop or ring/email someone like tempe tyre's and get the correct information before you buy anything. PS 25 series tyre will suck ball's on the road

My fronts are 22.8.5 with 245/30/22 and the rears are 22x10 with 285/30/22.
Now with te rear I could have gone for a 25 profile tyre but I just couldn't find one cheap so I wet with 30.
Mine only rubs a tiny bit but I have it lowered a fair bit. If u want the tucked guard look get skinny rims on the rear cause they don't tuck too much.
Also the rolling diameter has changed and yes they are illegal. But oh we'll. They look hot so too bad

Yeah im with you! If I pulled up by the cops ill just swap it all back, done it many times before haha! lol

I can get them in 22x8.5 front and 22x10 rear with 42 offset, and once its done I will lower it to suit. I dont want it slammed though just enough to make the new size rims suit the car.

I guess everyone has their different fitments that work, no car can be the exact same. I know when I replaced my subframe on my old car I put it all back together again and I had to re-adjust everything (obviously) but with my big wheels one side had started scrubing, and it was probably all over 2 or 3 mm... so im thinking a 40 offset might work for someone while someone else a 45 offset might be better.

Well thats why I think I keep getting different answers haha.

Well when I brought my rims I searched the offset. If u look up offset insted if just like Holden rims u can find alot more rims available. When I put mine on I had to get a sheep alignment to suit the rims. If your rear is slightly out it won't sit inside the guard and will chew out ur tyres pretty quickly.

It's actually closer to 13mm and I would say that's way more than a bee's dick. It could easily be the difference between the tyres scrubbing or not.

Just to put my 2 bobs in. I run 20x9" front 20x10" +40mm with rear tyres 275. At the moment i had stock suspension but soon i'll be getting super lows all round with gt shocks. Last weekend i had 3 big guys approx 350kg in the back stock shocks and my rear tyres rub and with the guard.
So I'm getting my rear guards rolled cost is $65 per guard.
Cheers
