Managed to score some 3inch J pipe mufflers for a steal. However I've got a 2.5inch cat back.

Is there any sort of adaptor kinda thingy I can get that would get them to fit properly? Perhaps a special type of gasket? Or maybe take it to an exhaust shop?

I'm able to fit the left side with no exhaust leak (or very very minimal) but with only fit one bolt fitted. The right side however, has a 1cm gap.

Car is an SS btw

The flange bolt spacing should be the same so they should bolt straight up. The only difference should be the internal diameter of the flange. But seeing as they don't, you will need to have flanges welded onto them that suit your mid section. Or you may be able to slot the holes a bit so you can centralize them and get bolts in them.
