So recently swapped my blown 4l60 (Trans) and bought a 4l65 (For an SS)

To the point: with the 4l60 it would rev normal (past 3500)
And the 4l65 well It won’t rev past 3500rpm in park.

Any ideas?

What about in neutral?

I know for mine (which is only a VE omega) you can't rev it pass 3-3500 unless you're in neutral or drive. May be the same for yours?

(VY) and even in neutral it won’t pass 3500 only thing I can think of it being is the 4l65 has a rev limiter or the linkage is of slightly could that possibly do it ?

You can get up over that RPM while driving though? If so..

I think that would be the case, just saves people sitting and limit bashing them while stationary haha

Probably to stop neutral bangers...

If 4l60e was vy didn't think vz 4l65e would work with different pcm or is it out of a vy crewman?
