Well my poor 4l60e died on its way home a couple of weeks ago and has been sitting ever since.

Slipped badly forward and reverse and grinded/grabbed like it had gravel in it trying to limp to the local shop.

It was sitting behind a stock LS1 making 300rwhp last dyno'd with 225k original on the motor and trans.

Question is what would i be looking at for a similar build to something like this

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/262778475743?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Its $2400 shipped reasonable? Is it a good build? I know nothing about these trans and only just had the car for a year with no previous trans issues

If anyone has any recommendations for a decent auto rebuilder let me know

$550 for shipping sounds a bit rich to me.

How could they possibly rebuild the 4L60E Transmission for that price just the new parts would be that alone.
