Hey guys, just looking for some advice on strengthening the 5 speed auto, the LSD and everything in between.

Anyone done this?

Cheers,

Can you elaborate a little.

Are you intending towing?

Do you have 400 + Kw to put through?

Do you have legitimate concerns with the standard setup? If so what are they?

I plan on modifying the motor beyond the extent the drivetrain can handle, so I'm wanting to strengthen those components.

I would like to get a lot out of this engine, over time.

And the best thing to do now is this.

Sorry for not being real specific lol

I do t think there is anything. You can't even tune these gearboxes. The most I've heard from them is an electronic resistor that bumps up line pressures

That is unfortunate Richard, how does your gearbox cope with your Raptor? You have a 5 speed auto right?

Btw love what you've done to yours :)

Yea it's still hanging on, no signs of any trouble. Only problem is that the gearbox doesn't change on time fro
1st to 2nd, so it holds it in 1st til about 7000rpm, then changes.

Wow, you would have to be doubling the amount of torque the gearbox can handle right?

I contacted BTA Motorsports in Sydney and I asked them about strengthening my 5 speed and they said they could supply me with a 6L80E that could tolerate 550rwkw for $5000.
