I have a spare computer with a manual and auto chip, open for offers is anybody reading is interested.

i didn't think there was any difference at all with the earlier computers.. i only changed mine at the time because i had it and at the time i thought ya would have to..

I didnt change the computer in my statao as the auto is not electic controlled and it seems to be sweet

where can i buy a manual conversion kit, and does the kit come with everything or do i have to buy a gearbox also

also if i could just get a 5speed (mate has a wrecked vp s1) what other parts would i need, iv seen these threads but couldnt find them, also is there any mayjor difference between the vp-vp gearbox's etc if i wanna put one in...

changing a auto to 5spd is easy... if you know what your doing

computer doesnt need to be changed but the car will run better if its a manual computer..

the hardest part is pedel box IMO...

usally when you buy a converstion kit things are left out usually the gearbox mount...

best to buy a doner car..


what you mean when you say
also is there any mayjor difference between the vp-vp gearbox's etc if i wanna put one in...
if you mean VN-VP notmuch diff

ive done many conversions with vn/vp/vg/vq

ok then thanks, i have been looking but a busted vn with a 5 speed is rare, busted are common but 5speed vn's are rare round my area

are the tail shafts in a auto and manual the same length? and what about the stato are they the same length in that?
