Well I just watched the 50 years of Bathurst tribute and overall it was very good. One thing that particularly bugged me was the blurring of all the Tobacco signage. I don't mind the tobacco ban in motorsport. Actually I support it, but when it comes to history, lets not pretend it never happened.

There was no need for an alarm clock this morning. I was pleasantly woken by the sound of V8 Commodores driving up and down my road.

Go Holden.

If they didn't blur it out Reap, you might have been tempted to take up smoking!

Yeah Top Gear Aus had to do the same thing when they did a segment on the old v8's.

Pretty stupid considering anyone who looks at the car IRL doesnt get their view censored even though its still technically advertising.

I'm liking the period liveries, adds some nostalgia.

I like the notion. Some have been done very well over the years. FPR & #17 are the stand outs this year with Bottle-O being close behind. Unfortunately, whilst I know what they were trying to achieve, 888 missed the mark IMO.

Because the colours have been reversed. So it doesnt resemble the actual pack. It's pathetic.
