2012 VE SV6 Sedan
Just recently bought a beautiful 2012 sv6 commodore sedan and drove over to a rural road with no speed limit and did the 0-100 test and it was 7.8 seconds and am wondering if this is good or bad? Car has 90,000 k’s on it and previous owner took great care with it. When I did the launch it was in normal drive mode with traction control off, also had refueled the tank with unleaded 91 not knowing I could of put 98 in it and since I’m an over thinker this is stuck in my head as other people with sv6 commodores get around 6 7 seconds with theirs

Thanks

You have what would be considered to be a very nice low K Commodore, but already you are wondering why it is 1.1 farking seconds slower than what you read some Richard Kranium (Dick Head) reckons his/her commodore will do.
And you read it on the internet so it mustbecorrect.

Get serious, go to a drag strip and test it.

Like I said, stupid pointless things like this get stuck in my head, just wondering what others are like. And I just used a stopwatch on my phone to record the time. And I understand there are a huge number of factors that go into what determines the time it takes to reach 100kph

Keep driving like that,
And expect it to go faster,

You will be in your back pocket for replacement hardware.
I don't need to list the items.

I tried seeing how long I'd last on the vinegar stroke and the best I could manage was 1.2 seconds....

The other participant was beautiful, low mileage and open to a varying speed, hence the quick loss of bodily fluid

Choice of fuel was coffee and viagra

If you bought an EV for maybe 10 times more the price of your SV6, you could crack 0 >100kmh in about 3 >4 seconds, which would get you to the next set of traffic lights so much faster.
And on a deserted rural road, only the roos will know your time.
So, really why does it matter ?

Is your phone a good one? I have a Samsung Galaxy 5 or something like that, and I’ve noticed it has a habit of losing time. Maybe borrow someone else’s phone and see if that makes any difference.
