99 VT Commodore Ex Taxi 700,000 KMS

I so much rather any piece of junk over an ex taxi. Think about how many people would have vomitted in there, everything would be so worn out. My vt has done 503,000kms original engine and trans and is still running strong, ive waiting for it to die so i can get a new car, but it just wont die. And I give it a flogging every time i drive it, so I know they are so durable. But buying an ex taxi would just be yuck, and would be on death row. 5 year old post but hey.

the engine may be good.
what you cant over look is the suspension
are the Bushes still factory or have these been replaced

check struts, control arms, radius rod and link pin bushes.
these will determine whether its a comfort ride or not .

engines go for ever when looked after.
only cosmetics to keep them going

5 bloody years must go down in history & people still reply to this?? seen it pop up a few times but this is ridiculous. does anyone read things properly anymore,or do we have to send out reading glasses & a couple of learn to read books,lol.
the bloke must be a grandfather & that poor taxi must be well past its prime by now. or maybe its been put back in service.
its the yellow cab with a top speed of 10 kms per hour,lol

hey for 4400 get on ebay and buy a calais or somthing always going cheap on there i wouldnt buy a taxi .
