99 VT S2 HSV Senator Signature

Hi all, so this is my first ever V8 vehicle and as soon as i heard it start i was in love, managed to get it off my Mum for $7000 Offspring-rates haha

It's a Series 2 VT Senator Signature build No. 084, 5.7L LS1 and all the leather & Suede Interior ect it's in need of a really good tune and some minor cosmetic upgrades but overall im in love with it!!

First things first:

1. Register it (it's out of rego)
2. Tune up of some sort
3. VZ Monaro front end (keeping the original bar for later)
4. Respray in Jet Black, Voodoo Blue or that new VE green pearl...
5. 20inch rims maybe VE spec
6. Interior leather retrim
7. Retint the windows
8. Decent sound system
9. VX Tail lights
10. ENJOY IT!!!

I work away in the mines, no debts and plenty of cash to really make this an amazing car!

Looks decent mate. The interior looks shmick as!

How many km's on her? Looks like a decent scrub up will bring it back to life. I would avoid putting a later model front end on when you already have a senator front but that's just me.

Honestly I hate your plans for the respray and monaro front..

The car is a real classy rig without mods, don't make it tacky and "custom".

Im not a fan of the senator front bar it's too basic.. I mean i'll keep it for resale later but im keen on maybe a one off VZ Senator bar fabricated to suit the VZ Monaro headlights..

Jet/Pearl Black is my colour of choice as the current champagne colour doesnt do the interior colour scheme any justice, i think black will really set it off or maybe pearl red but im a big fan of the VE Voodoo Blue so am im undecided.. I think black may be the go..

If you get it done well it could work but honestly a senitor is a classy, tuf car there is zero need for body kits mate.
If you go monaro so be it although I think it's a waste. But PLEASE no vz butchered front end, they never end up looking good:/

I too love voodoo blue but I think if you have to change colour go black, it would still maintain the class and impact a hsv senitor should have

Some more pics, the Voodoo Blue or Wildfire Orange are the colours im choosing between for the respray =)

For now i'll leave the senator kit and see how it looks after the respray!

This voodoo blue vx is fuuuaarking sexual!!! Im sold on that colour at the moment, it'd set the tan interior off nicely... opinions?
