ok so i was on holidays last week up the coast and was driving along a few dirt roads and such... i was on one and it got a bit sandy and the car started to slow down and it was moving but the back wheels were spinning then gripping and the spinning again... the t/c was off and all of a sudden i got an ABS error come up on the dash and then the engine cut out... tried to start the engine but it wouldnt... tried turning the ignition off and back and the engine would almost start then die cause the abs error came up... waited a minute or 2 with the key out and it started no probs without any abs errors or anything... been running a bit over a week now and it hasnt come up again and havent had any troubles
does anyone know why this would have happened???
also i did get new aftermarket rotors installed a few weeks ago but i still dont see how this would have affected the abs so that it would come in like that... and why did it kill the engine??

ABS light would have come on because the back wheels were spinning faster than the front wheels.

same thing will happens if you have the rear wheels up on stands and put the car in gear.
