Hi there i just brought a vz commodore Ute drive it home which was about 350kms, yesterday when for a drive to the shops and it was running rich and when changing to reverse it made a clunk noise like it was forcing it’s self into reverse drive (only happened the once), on the way home it run fine no noise when it was going through it’s gears. then today when i try to move it and abs, airbag faults came up on and now it won’t start, the previous owner had put one of those Idrive evc throttle controllers in it well and he has put an aftermarket radio in it which doesn’t turn off with the Ute, turns it off before I get out of it each time. Any help would be appreciated thank you!!

Hope thats this makes sense.

unfortunately you bought someone elses problem child
unplug the abs module wiring connector and see if it starts
then
scan for codes and go from there

Great advice there from @lout. Give it a go.

Remove the headunit. Get a look behind there at what sort of shitshow it is. Hopefully adaptor harnesses were used. Might just need the accessory and battery wires swapped.
