well here's a win for anyone else out there that might have used these pistons , don't want to buy forged pistons or the horrible factory pistons and need something to match the weight of the now discontinued ACL race series pistons (the ones with Larry Perkins on the box)
I bought the Hypatec branded pistons , these weigh within 2 grams of the ACL pistons , the pins are a really heavy though so I just reused my ACL pins as the were still mint and not worn , this saved me having to rebalance the whole bottom end
I had to machine 0.5mm off each piston to get zero deck height, my crank must be a 304 crank , these are 30 over and the set of rings were all set so nothing to gap either actually not a bad looking piston for $650
