I can't make up my mind as to buying either a 12 month old Commodore S or a 25th anniversary Commodore. What would be the main differences in comfort and grunt?

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

first of all welcome to justcommodores.com hope you enjoy your stay

this is what you get in the 25th aniversary model

16" alloy wheels
Rear spoiler
Chrome exhaust extension
Body coloured side mouldings, rockers and lower fascia
Leather-wrap steering wheel
Air conditioning
6 disc in-dash CD player
Power windows
Cruise control
Unique seat and door trim
Unique 25th Anniversary badging and floor mats
Control-link IRS

and this is what you get in the s model

3.8 litre V6 engine
Dual front airbags
Sports suspension
Sports body kit
Leather interior (optional)
Sports style instrument cluster
17" alloy wheels
this info was taken from a holden site and relates to the vy commodore
hope this helps

as for grunt and comfort
depends on what you do to the engine as far as i know they both come in v6 and would have the same power
comfort is tricky i have sat in a few commodores some of them upper market style and standard somtimes the standard is more comfotable than the upperclass model but it all boils down to what you think is comfortable

Buy the newer car. They look better, everything's newer, less K's (hopefully).
Thats my opinion.
