Aftermarket SSV projector lights

Hey all,


Thinking about getting a set of these for my ve, just wanted to know if anyone had any good or bad experiences with these. Ill be running 35w 8000k hids in these will i occur any problems?

Which ones? There are some by a local guy in Sydney that have approval.

I hope you understand 8000k hids may be ok for cruising the hot spots of Melbourne but will be way too blue to be any good anywhere else.

Ah I see, will you have problems with ultra violet high intensity blue light globes that dentists and barbers use to sterilise sharps swapped into your projectors...? Yes.

yep illegal,op-there is a few threads on here relating to the legalities of these lights etc,do a search and you should find something to help you out

aftermarket projectors are good mate for about a year or 2 then the headlight cover starts to turn foggy inside the headlight housing itself which makes it looks like balls.

if you can save up for a good 2nd hand genuine ve projectors lights. They might cost you double but will last twice as longer

I got ssv projector headlights with 6000k 35w hid's and it's looks the goods.

Pain to change the fitting over though,
The front bar has to be dropped,

But worth it
