Air bag light

Hey guys everytime i start the car the air bag light comes on and the noise chimes then the light just stays on. I checked fuses. What could be causing this

Ive never had this occurrence so in general a fault has been detected by the car computer. A auto elec or holden service can pin point the issue. Its something of a saftey issue in the sence it could interfere with it functioning in a collision.

the airbag light will not reset on its own
there are several things that can cause this
you will need to have code read with a scan tool and light reset
then decide it it is a one off or something needs replacing
most common cause is the clock spring in the steering column

Haven't had the dash cluster or seat out and turned the ignition on have you? Classic causes of the old srs light.
