so power to switch is not there?
at the switch?
then check fuse f22.. if power there it wiring to switch is pinched or open circuit
from fuse to switch..... don any recent work incide the car? check where you were working for pinched wires or screws through wires etc...

so the power from the fuse goes straight to the in cabin switch? if thats the case il try running a new wire and see if that fixes the problem? basically. i bought the car and it had no cd player. you can see the dash has been off before.. and the aircon didnt work.

power goes (working in + to -)
from battery to
ignition relay to
fuse f22 to
ALL a/c switches to
pcm (ecu) to ground (battery)

so in the above diagram all a/c switches must work for the A/C ON signal to get to the PCM
