air con cuts out when booting it

anyone know why my aircon fan cuts out when accelerating its never done it in 7 years but need doing it since back from crash repairs .... its been doing it aso under just normal take off too

Pretty sure the AC compressor is supposed to cut out when booting it so it doesn't blow up at high revs.
The fan should still be blowing through the dash vents though from memory. Owners handbook should explain it better.

when u go WOT or over around 4+k rpm the a/c cuts out, its not good to spin the guts out of the compressor

yup... spot on ! (applies to all VE/VF models)

its not the compressor cutting at at wot its the fan cuts out for few seconds and its not only above 4-5k it can be any and rpm if you go fast ie if you take off slow its fine if you take off fat but still way under wot it does it

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere and when you gun it the wire moves away and creates an open circuit. Will have to look at a schematic to see what power/ground it may be so you know where to look. Will get back to you.

it's never done it before even giving it heaps but since crash shop had it it's done itvolts times they did have left guard and both front and back doors off
