Hi again guys,

Just about to regas my air con in my vn 2m, i was wondering if anyone knows how much gas should be put in it to regas, the system is entirely empty.

It used to be 1100g of R12. If it is retrofitted to R134A then it is 90% of original charge which gives you around 1000g of R134A. I use SP34E for cars that had not been retrofitted and it would take 1000g as well.

I do not know if you are aware but only licensed people are allowed to handle refrigerants. Make sure you perform evacuation and leak detection before regas. Good luck.

Yeah my mate is a refrigiration mehanic, he just wanted to make sure he was putting the right amount of gas in. We ended up putting in 850 gms in of R134A and is working excellently. Also did a full vacuum of the system, will last for summer at least, cost a carton, so that will get me through summer.
