Update time, been a while! So my mate Lyle is a whizz with the camera and came for a blat to the Christchurch Port Hills to take some snaps of the ute, here's a couple

Also I got my hands on some 19" DTM Shine mags to give the ute a much nicer look. To be honest I really want 20"s but not 100% sure yet - maybe one day!

Just to let you know, I'll be running the ute at an organised track day at Ruapuna Raceway in Christchurch on December 9th. Lyle will be there to grab some pictures so I'll try to put on a bit of a show and put the results up here. Should be good fun to have a blat a proper race track, will be able to use the big brakes properly

Also going to visit the local LS1 tuner next week to discuss options. It's my daily so still need economy but I'll see what he can do with it! If I can get it done before the track day I'll be happy but not too big of a deal I suppose

Nice looking ute there. I'd love to test my driving on those roads in NZ.

Update time! Few improvements to the ute since last time, in December I had it dyno tuned at Harman Motors and made 245kw at the wheels with just the exhaust and intake as engine mods. Paid the same place to do a full service at the same time, it felt like a brand new car for the track day a few days later. The most fun I've ever had behind the wheel, I slid around all day, fried the brake pads, and had the tyre pressures up way too high most of the day so spent a lot of time at opposite lock, so much fun.

Also upgraded the sound system with a JVC Bluetooth head unit with new 6.5" Sony Xplod speakers in the doors. Next on the list is a sub and amp package but I'm happy with it for now.

And have just been taking advantage of the summer and having some fun, probably not great for the suspension but it was 37C degrees this day and us Kiwi's dont get that too often hahaha!

Couple more pics

Got plenty plans for the near future, just purchased a Ripshifter short shifter which will go in very soon. Really REALLLY keen for some 3.9s in the diff, that's high on the priority list! Also want to tidy up the exterior paint, will eventually get atleast the front half resprayed but theres plenty of time for that. Camshaft and full stainless exhaust are further down the road . . . .

Cheers guys, thanks for all the positive comments :)
