I love the colour of this calai, but I'm not really a fan of the wheels.

how did you go with getting this roadworthy with the bags? I know in nsw they are kinda tough with stuff like that compared to wa.

Im a mechanic and do pinkslips.... so yeah kinda dodgy but if i was doing a pinkslip just leave it standard height

Ok update time yeah…
well after talking bout it i finally completed my v8 manual conversion
Only problems i had was the vats needed to be removed once that was done got injector pulse and fired up straight away
the motor has new water pump, sump gasket rear main, rocket cover gaskets and coil/dizzy
Its a vr ss 5litre manual but i used the calais v6 bcm and no dramas just changed motor wiring harness and all air con pipes and condenser re wired them up and now I'm cruising!
Don't know how to make this more interesting so yeah

Get that dint fixed! Are you driving a 5L illegally?
Thought an older engine in a newer car wasn't allowed either.. Guess it's a 5L, they didn't really change did they?

before Ari locks onto this comment...
so long as it meets the same emissions or betters them then it can be done.
due to the fact its a 5L and it came out with a 5L of the same type it meets the emissions stuff.
doing the older cannot be done is a good rule of thumb to follow, but the above is true.

swap looks the goods.

Yep as drawnnite said has exact same emmisions as the vs 5ltre and was built for it so no problems... and i know the dent annoys me just cant wait till my mate resprays it
