Hi , can anyone tell me if the V8 radiator will slot into the same space as the V6 radiator? im not concerned about the inlet or outlet or fill pipes , just the width please.

It should, AFAIK rad supports don't change just for engines.

Why not just go aftermarket?

its for a custom project im doing , not actually a commodore , but im using a commo radiator , and if what i have planned doesnt work this time , i'll be looking at alternatives.

2 radiators trimmed of tanks , shortened and new tanks fabbed... just excuse the crap welding.

As above, same dimensions...
Probably hard to find now but vb-vl were the same size and made of copper (easier to work with/repair) vl for cooling was the best as there was a baffle in the middle 1 side and the inlet/outlet were on the other for the best cooling using the horizontal core.
