Hey guys,

I've seen a whole bunch of threads on this airbox mod for VZs and I'm assuming it'll work on my ute.
Just wanted to get this confirmed before i go hacking up my airbox.

any input welcome.

unless you're going to tell me to get a v8.... i'm on my p's...

so it turns out that it wont work... gay.

the airbox for the VE isn't deep enough for another hole. i guess ill fork out $600 for an orssom OTRCAI

You'd have to be very unlucky to get an insurance assesor to void your insurance because of an airbox mod.
But yes... you are 100% right, you technically have a car that's got illegal mods and is therefore unroadworthy. Give's the guy a huge window of opportunity to void or minimise the payout and cost to the insurer (which at the end of the day is what he is paid to do). Maybe OP is very generous, who knows .

Doubt insurance will check this. I just made a claim a few months ago with the mace cai and it went trough fine
