Almost dies in reverse

Right so, park neutral and drive the car idles fine, go into reversw the revs go so low it sounds like itll die.. ideas? Thanks

Sounds transmission related... I don't know if this will help but when was the transmission last serviced?

CHeck you vacuum hoses and motor mounts. When you put the car in reverse grear it can move the motor around and pull on the houses if you have a broken mount nad it might be different when in foward gears, Just a thought.
