As there is no reasonable alternative in South Australia, I used industrial estates before I lost my license. (Loss of license was 100% unrelated to 'hooning')
The only thing I can't get my head around is (again in SA) how they can introduce such tight hooning laws without providing ANY reasonable alternative whatsoever.
Having to cross interstate borders to drive your car down a 1/4 mile strip is not a REASONABLE alternative.
